TITLE:
IT Consulting Project Manager
DUTIES:
Handle Project, Scope, Release, Change, Requirement, Issue, Risk, Time and Financial management in the entire SDLC process from requirement definition, analysis, design, build/coding, testing till deployment stage. Direct & lead one or more technical teams through software build/code/unit test stages per programming/testing paradigms; Establish parameters for scope, defect/failure tracking, software verification & validation, SQA methods; Manage release installations, updates, version tracking, uninstalling/retiring software builds.
Prepare SDLC project specs per client requirements; Present & explain proposals/findings to clients; Direct & finalize design/changes to project plans, schedules, financials including budget funding & staffing; Develop & manage Work Breakdown Structure (WBS); Develop implementation plans incl. analysis on tech. and market demand; Establish project Comm. plan; Track project milestones, deliverables & prepare/submit status reports to leadership teams; Perform risk assessments to develop response strategies; Ensure adherence to quality standards; Conduct post release lessons learnt sessions. Manage customer expectations & deliverables; Work involves travel/relocation to various unanticipated client sites across USA;
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants need to have a Bachelors degree or Foreign Equiv. in Computer Science / Mathematics / Engineering / Technology or any Related Field / Management / Related Field or Science and five years of progressive post Baccalaureate experience in SDLC including 2 years of experience in Business Objects, Salesforce.com, Oracle, SQL Server, Citrix, Crystal Reports, MS Access, MS Excel.
