Takes a lead role in the department's vision & implementation of the KP Colorado Business Intelligence program. The Business Intelligence lead will partner w/colleagues & customers to guide development of enterprise Colorado Data Warehouse & reporting solutions. The business Intelligence lead will drive the development of best practices for KPCO & mentor developers, analysts & other members of the BI team. The BI Lead will work w/technical & business teams to define & execute the KPCO data & BI delivery strategy. Maintain & support a culture of compliance, ethics & integrity. Responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance w/development practices in the BI program. Maintains knowledge of policies & procedures & performs in accordance w/applicable regulatory requirements, external laws & accreditation standards as they relate to the BI department.
Essential Functions:
Mentor team of Cognos developers in best practices for design & development.
Establishing specifications & standards for development & implementation of BI technologies.
Work w/leadership team to develop & implement the data & reporting strategy.
Create reports/dashboards/scorecards in Cognos (Query Studio, Analysis Studio & Framework Manager.
Create ad hoc reports for internal Business Intelligence team & external customers
Work collaboratively in a team environment w/the ability to interact effectively w/other groups in the organization.
Communicate w/all levels of management regarding information needs. Ability to discuss these solutions w/both technical & business community.
Take a lead role in collaborating w/national & regional IT teams on any issues involving architecture & design of data repositories, including development of new tables & Cognos frameworks.
Creates or contributes to an information library or similar format/forum which promotes sharing of information w/analysts/users within & outside the department.
Develops/maintains appropriate documentation on reports/dashboards/scorecards, during the development lifecycle.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Basic
Qualifications:
A minimum of 7 years of experience w/Business Intelligence, ETL & database technologies (Cognos, Oracle, Informatica).
A minimum of 3 years experience designing dimensional star schema data warehouse tables and/or developing complex ETL routines or PL/SQL.
Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, computer science, business, or related area
Advanced report development skills including strong understanding of the Cognos 8.x & 10.x toolset, including Query Studio, Report Studio, Analysis Studio & Framework Manager
Extensive experience in the use of statistical or similar analytic applications, databases, & data access/programming tools such as SAS, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, or Cognos.
Prior experience delivering complete Business Intelligence solutions in large organizations w/a user base of more than 300 users.
Strong oral written & interpersonal skills for interacting & collaborating w/analysts, physicians, & business staff throughout all levels of the organization; ability to clearly communicate complex business problems & technical solutions.
Proven track record leading development teams using agile methodologies delivering successful business intelligence solutions w/complex data sources.
Ability to think abstractly beyond basic data requirements.
Demonstrated ability to be productive w/minimal supervision

Qualifications:
Experience w/other BI reporting tools (Crystal, Business Objects WEBI, SAS, SPSS, QlikView)
Prior experience implementing a BI user training program.
Ability to create complex reports that require multiple data sources.
Secondary degree in Business, Computer Science or Healthcare.
Prior experience In Healthcare.
Ability to lead reporting & development teams during the project cycle.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
