Audiovisual Technician

Will set up, operate, install, repair, and maintain a variety of audiovisual and high tech classroom equipment, including but not limited to: video data projectors, DVD/Blu-ray players, flat panel monitors, remote camera systems, video communication and professional audio systems, document cameras, touch-screen controls, personal computers, PC-hosted software; will interact with faculty, staff, and other IT Services clientele in order to answer technical questions or facilitate client needs.
Minimum Requirements:
Knowledge normally acquired in the first two or three years in college, technical, or vocational school in electronic engineering technology; one year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in mechanical and electronic repairs of audio/video equipment, operations of audio/video recording, and/or installation of audio-video components; experience with analyzing schematics and architectural drawings; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; possession of a valid vehicle operator's license.
Qualifications:
Experience with professional audio, video, and video projection equipment; Creston/AMX touch panel controlled system experience; digital media program experience; experience with integration of information technology networks, personal computers, and videoconferencing with audiovisual installations; computer literacy to include experience with the Microsoft family of products; experience working in a live-performance environment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
