The Department of Human Development invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor focusing on marriage and family therapy (MFT). The MS in MFT program is located in Falls Church, Virginia, 6 miles from Washington, DC and is known for its strong clinical training and high quality research. Our graduates are highly successful in the field.
Primary responsibilities are to serve as a core faculty member in the MFT program, develop a program of externally funded research and publications, teach four academic courses per academic year, provide clinical supervision to a diverse population, and direct master's theses.
Review of applications will begin January 15, 2015 and continue until a suitable candidate is appointed. The starting date is August, 2015. Salary is competitive.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
