The Power Division of our North American EPC engineering client is looking for experienced Transmission Line engineers for key contributions to expanding T&D Power Delivery group.

Preparation of conceptual design options, economic conductor selection design analysis on PLS CADD and the preparation of staking sheets, material lists, framing details and stringing requirements.
Preparation of specifications and scope documents for construction bids and contracts.
You will also be responsible for liaison with clients and contractors, coordinating with various disciplines and permitting agencies, and acting as a mentor for junior Engineers. We offer opportunities to work on a variety of projects, with the liberty to take on a project management role as desired. Ideal candidate has a PE, is proficient in PLS-CADD or PLS-Pole, and has extensive experience in all areas of transmission line design.
Main
Responsibilities:
1. Design or assist in the design of various transmission and distribution line projects
Assist in equipment specification, proposal evaluation and requisitioning
Coordinating equipment delivery and design engineering to meet construction schedules

2. Monitor the construction of transmission line project to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
Act as Resident Engineer on projects of any magnitude
Interpret complex plans and specifications and apply available information to ensure that all project design requirements are satisfied
Maintain familiarity with appropriate engineering and construction codes and ensure compliance with all codes
Assist with complex economic analyses of engineering alternatives

REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Civil / Structural. (Advanced degree preferred).
PE License or ability to obtain (preferred, not required)
Must be a self-starter, able to seize initiative and be able to work with minimal supervision

Salary: DOE. Relocation assistance available. Must be authorized to work in US.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
