This is our direct-client opening for a UI/UX Web Developer located in Liverpool, NY. This is a full-time position.
The UI/UX Web Developers role is to develop, optimize, and test web solutions based on approved Marketing concepts, while providing simple and engaging User Experiences. The UI/UX Developer will also act as a liaison between IT and Marketing, working collaboratively to establish UI/UX standards and ensure polished, cross-browser deliverables.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Constructing cross-browser, mobile-friendly pages within our e-Commerce platform using HTML/CSS/jQuery
Maintaining and organizing CSS stylesheets
Extracting and optimizing imagery from approved mockups
Perform cross-browser testing on new/existing development
Communicate interdepartmentally, and work collaboratively to achieve project goals
Stay current with front-end development best practices and emerging technologies regarding HTML/CSS/jQuery
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Web/Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum of 2-3 years Web Development experience
Strong understanding of UI Design
Advanced understanding of HTML and CSS/CSS3
Intermediate knowledge of jQuery/JavaScript
Proficient with Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Firework.
Working knowledge developing cross-browser compatible, dynamic websites
Experience with delivering a consistent and near pixel-perfect product, based on approved mockups
Exceptionally strong attention to detail
Ability to collaborate well within a team setting and provide constructive feedback
Self-motivated and self-directed. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks according to their importance
Strong written and communication skills
Experience with implementing Media Queries and Responsive User Interfaces
Knowledge of HTML5
Experience in performance optimization techniques to speed up page load times
Experience with version control softwareEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
