THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
This main focus of this position is to support the manufacturing operations team by leading maintenance teams to ensure departments are able to achieve plant production goals
Hands-on maintenance leadership in a high volume manufacturing plant
Preventative and Predictive Maintenance - ensure all production equipment is maintained and in working order
Lubrication, inspections, clean, and repair of equipment
Troubleshoot and repair machinery, electrical components, pneumatic equipment, and hydraulic equipment
Fabricate equipment using arc and gas welding techniques
Diagnose Problems with mechanical & electrical devices and equipment through observation while equipment is in operation
Dismantle devices to remove and replace defective parts
Adjust functional parts of equipment and control instruments

BACKGROUND PROFILE:
Associates Degree minimum (Bachelors degree preferred) in maintenance or a technical field of study from an accredited college or university, plus a mechanical or electrical journeyman's card and/or a minimum of 5 years mechanical and/or electrical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Previous Supervisory Experience preferred
Proficient mechanical and electrical skills in addition to basic mathematical skills
Blueprint reading skills, knowledge of the NEC 70 (national electric code), and knowledge of OSHA CFR1910.217
Experience with various measuring instruments: multi-meters, amp probes, thermocouples, torque wrenches
Knowledge and practical application experience in electrical, electronics, PLC's, cutting/welding, hydraulics, pneumatics and conveyor systems
Strong knowledge of Preventative Maintenance
Required computer skills include but are not limited to: data entry into the CMMS(computerized maintenance management system) and the use of PLC programming tools. Experience with RS Logix, RS Linx and RS Panelbuilder is a plus
Ability to apply sizing and selection of conduits, wiring, circuit breakers, fuses, drills and taps
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
