Materials Management Supervisor

Purpose of Position:
Implementation and optimization of materials management activities and support required for the delivery of products to our business partners (internal and external), from material acquisition through delivery.
Key
Responsibilities:
Evaluates and improves overall materials management process and systems
Periodic cycle counting of material at several locations including 3rd party suppliers
Balances manufacturing capacity with customer demands
Works collaboratively with Supply Chain, PLM, Sales and Manufacturing Operations to ensure product delivery to meet business objectives
Develops short-term materials plans consistent with long-term objectives
Participates on cross-functional project teams to drive and deliver goals
Preparation of material forecasts that includes analysis of customer demand and market indicators using statistical models
Track and report performance of key metrics
Customer satisfaction (cycle time, on time to promise)
Inventory metrics (turns, value, accuracy)

Experiences/Education:
Required
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering or related field
Minimum 5 years materials management experience
Experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams
Desired
Masters in Business or Supply Chain Management
Certified Production & Inventory Management (CPIM)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
