Ski & Snowboard School Supervisors are responsible for the quality of the guest and employee experience in their program and at their POD. He/she has accountability for the guest experience at the location by helping the Product and General Manager monitor staffing, guest service, income and expenses, Worker's Comp, employee relations, staff morale, etc. This is accomplished by focusing on the guest, the community, the employee, the company, personal development, and job-specific responsibilities.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Match guest needs to instructor qualities: groups and privates. Schedule, coach, develop and discipline instructors.
Accommodate instructor scheduling changes that serve to increase sales and serve the guest.
Utilize guest feedback and observations appropriately to coach and counsel instructors. Give timely feedback to instructors in order to to raise quality of product. Resolve guest complaints efficiently and effectively and support 100% guest recovery.
Role model, lead and support school, resort, and company safety programs.
Manage worker's comp and guest liability, including necessary paper work, procedures, and follow up.
Know and model the school teaching system and guest service guidelines. Lead clinics and teach the public if necessary. Actively seek information about industry trends, competitions, and events and remain involved with professional organizations (PSIA/AASI).
Create a climate that is fun and rewarding to work in.
Conduct effective, upbeat and motivating meetings with staff and peers, including product sales.
Stay abreast of all company and school wide initiatives and communications from executives and directors.
Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
High School Diploma/ - required. / //
Minimum Level 2 alpine certification/ - level 3 preferred./
Supervisor Assistant or Program Coordinator in appropriate program,or similar managerial experience - /preferred./
