Summary:
Breckenridge Ski Resort is looking for a seasonal, full-time Assistant Manager to successfully supervise the scanning team in the 2014/2015 winter season. This is a leadership position directly responsible for the Ticket Scanning department and its' 30
employees over 4 base locations. This position requires a strong leader to keep the team focused on providing an exceptionally high level of guest service. We are looking for an organized individual who is positive, outgoing, has a passion for the outdoors, is well disciplined, and takes pride in their work.

Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Create a fun and enjoyable work environment by elevating the employee and guest experience;
Personalize and elevate the Guest Experience while being scanned at the lifts;
Personnel management including hiring, training, scheduling, performance reviews, counseling and disciplinary actions;
Managing payroll by monitoring staffing levels, using PeopleSoft, and approving break schedules;
Prepares a variety of reports regarding operations, activities and revenues, including accurate inventory, commission, and payroll reports;
Ability to understand all ticket and pass products and the benefits associated with each for the purpose of enforcing Breckenridge Ski Resort policies.
Coordinates staffing and schedule requests while maintaining alignment with the labor budget and forecast.
Enforces company policy in regards to theft of services
Responsible for tracking employee incentives/commissions
Provides professional customer service regarding all aspects of Breckenridge Ski Resort;
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people and have the ability to maintain a positive attitude;
Ability to establish priorities, work independently or within a group, and proceed with objectives without supervision;
Ability to delegate responsibilities to employees;
All employees are to understand and abide by the rules of the mountain and help to ensure the guest know them as well;
Recognize existing and potential problems and suggest resolutions.

Requirements:
Previous management/supervisor experience;
High school diploma or equivalent;
Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English language proficiently;
Able to lift and carry 25 lbs;
Able to work in all weather conditions including snow and sunshine;
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Preferred skills:
2
years of Guest Service experience;
2
years manager/supervisor experience in high paced work environment;
Bachelor's degree in business or recreation management
Skill in customer relations, communications, and problem solving;
Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
