Come be part of the growing J-Team team! Jordan's Furniture seeks a motivated, part-time copywriter to partner with our talented Marketing team in writing advertising copy. This position plays a very important role within Jordan's Furniture's in-house creative department, creating compelling advertising copy to promote Jordan's in various advertising pieces.
Works closely with marketing team and graphic design teams to write copy for Jordan's advertising pieces, including: signs, emails, direct mail, web, etc.
Proofs work for factual and grammatical accuracy
Produces all work in accordance with Jordan's copy and legal standards, while meeting all deadlines
Maintains a strong understanding of the Jordan brand, customer profiles and broader furniture industry trends

years writing and/or editing copy for retail clients on either the client side or agency side.
Experienced in working with retail, fashion and/or eCommerce industries and have an understanding of advertising trends and techniques
A degree in journalism, English, advertising, communication or a related subject required
Must have the ability to work under pressure and within tight time deadlinesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
