Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of MBA Admissions, the Associate Director is part of an admissions team that engages prospective applicants and generates approximately 2,000 applicants to the full-time MBA program each year. The Associate Director manages recruiting events, conducts information sessions, makes presentations, advises prospective applicants, evaluates applications and interviews applicants. The Associate Director supervises the campus visit program and manages the admission inquiries. The Associate Director leads the recruitment of underrepresented minority applicants and manages the alliances with the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management and other organizations. The Associate Director creates prospect and applicant data reports. The Associate Director supervises staff and student volunteers.
Educational Requirements
A Bachelor's degree is required. Master's degree in business administration or education is preferred. Will consider candidates with relevant experience and an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications and Experience
Position requires excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Position requires excellent presentation and organizational skills. Successful applicants must be proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and database software. Position requires some weekend and evening work. Domestic and international travel is required. Experience recruiting underrepresented minorities, preferably in higher education, is strongly preferred.
