BAE Systems is seeking a Communications Specialist to quantitatively
and qualitatively improve communication for a Federal Government agency Front Office. The position will assist the Source Front Office in implementing strategies designed to inform, engage and influence both internal
and external stakeholders.
Requirements include: developing internal communications to educate military, civilian and contractor employees on current events and activities within the agency; developing and documenting communications plans and strategies; updating blogs and webpages with regards to current office information; meeting with internal and external stakeholders to ascertain communication requirements.Support Front Office senior leaders by writing speeches, talking points, video scripts, briefings, and other communications
products as necessary.
Position requires 7-10 years of experience with a Bachelors degree.
Should have the experience and education necessary to develop and implement internal and external communications;proactively
identify and implement marketing strategies. Based on awareness and
understanding of the IC agency mission and operations tempo, identify
and reach out to potential users and user groups.
Should have experience with analyzing
customer needs; make appropriate recommendations for
message/information development, communication method selection, and
timing of messages. Tailor messages by target audience.
Requires
experience with research, writing, editing, and publishing
communications products (e.g., print, web, electronic, briefings). Have
the ability and experience to provide direction to graphic designers,
briefing developers, photographers, illustrators and other required
staff.
Experience with developing new communication methods to reach target audiences.
The ideal candidate will have basic to detailedknowledge of the Intelligence Community and an understanding of the GEOINT mission;
BS degree with Marketing, Communications, or related, major;
Experience with techniques and tools relevant to data and marketing analysis;
Strategic marketing and project management experience to include experience writing successful business and internal marketing plan;
Polished presentation skills
