## Position
Summary:
The purpose of this position is to assist Aquatics Supervisor in managing and training the staffing for the Aquatics Department. This position will be provided with general supervision by the Aquatics Supervisor and is responsible for department activity in the absence of the Supervisor.

Qualifications:
First Aid/CPR certification required prior to hire date
Position requires First Aid/CPR certification for professional rescuers
Must be 16 years of age.
Vast knowledge of present successful industry aquatic program trends and programs
Advanced knowledge of standard anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
Understands and utilizes aquatics and fitness industry gold standards and bench marks
Strong background in the aquatics and fitness industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent customer service skills, energetic, enthusiastic and motivational
Must be able to perform aquatics activities and programs
Occasional bending, kneeling, and lifting of weights of 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
Frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing and balancing around club
Must be able to exert physical mobility and properly use aquatic rescue equipment to rescue a 200 pound person.
Have physical, visual, and auditory ability to perform essential functions of the job description.

Work environment may require prolonged exposure to the outdoors including direct exposure to sun and extreme heat.
