_PURPOSE_
The purpose of the Level 2 Merchandiser is to conduct break-fix work, in addition to general Merchandising projects. Responsibilities include building end caps, displays, resetting PLANOGRAMs, and conducting break-fix repairs.
_RESPONSIBILITIES_
Maintain displays within retail stores; build end cap or inline fixturing and reset section as per PLANOGRAM to include POP and pricing/fact tags
Setup and/or ensure powered displays are fully functioning
Conduct break-fix repair work within the retail store - troubleshoot issues and ensure displays are functioning properly
Effectively troubleshoot computer, smartphone, and/or tablet related issues and ensure units are functioning upon departure
Conduct standard merchandising project or program visits
Assemble wood retail sales displays or cardboard shippers
Administrative tasks, including but not limited to scheduling and reporting visits
Other tasks as requested by management
_REQUIREMENTS_
More than 6 months of PLANOGRAM reset and brand compliance experience
More than 6 months of experience using tools for work within a retail environment, i.e. gondola and display builds, wood assembling, etc.
More than 6 months experience in troubleshooting and fixing display issues within a retail environment i.e. light fixtures, malfunctioning buttons, computer/tablet/Smartphone demo-related issues or software reboots
Proof of auto insurance and reliable transportation required
Must be able to work Monday through Friday each week with some occasional weekend work
Must be able to work 8 hour resets when necessary
Ability to take clear photos and upload into online call form
Ability to enter data/photos online (in-store/on site or in home office)
Must have access to the following tools: hammer, rubber mallet, wire cutters, pliers, Allen wrenches, Phillips/flat head screwdrivers, box cutter, and a basic socket set
Must be able to safely and effectively use tools such as power drills, hammers, mallets, pliers, etc.
Must be able to troubleshoot malfunctioning displays and repair on-site
Must be able to conduct break-fix in a short period of time
Must have good verbal and written communication skills
Must be computer and/or Smartphone/Tablet (mobile) literate
Must have a computer with internet/web access and the ability to send and receive email attachments
Must have a digital camera and a Smartphone or tablet to enter reports
Must be able to travel outside of market area to conduct outlying work
Regular bending and lifting up to 40 lbs
Must be able to climb a ladder more than 6 ft. tall
Must be able to meet all pre-employment requirement, including a background check, MVR and drug screen
