Oversees the administration of retirement benefits for the organization's locations nationwide.
Key
Responsibilities:
Preparation, coordination, reconciliation/auditing and transactions of payrolls related to retirement plans;
Assists in the development of communication materials for new locations, benefit changes, annual open enrollment and online intranet web site.
Assists in the design and implementation of centralized retirement benefit plans, programs, and procedures.
Research emerging market trends and changes in the regulatory environment.
Reviews compliance with governmental guidelines, applicable laws and regulations.
Maintains confidentiality of all information;
Creation/updating of plan documentation, process documentation, coordinate annual 5500 retirement audits and reporting, other financial and statistical reports as required from local to national requests;
Provide national support including strong customer service via fielding calls, responding to service issues, supporting the locations and employees;
Responsible for the ADP data integrity as it relates to the Retirement Plans;
Responsible for running ad hoc reports, and audits on a weekly, monthly or periodic basis from HRIS/vendors and identifying and cleaning up discrepancies as necessary;
Coordinate plan-to-plan transfers and plan mergers;
Assist as needed with start-ups/property closures, including creating and maintaining plan documentation and systems population and automation;
Work with vendors on data integrity and scope of services;
Train and support new/existing field personnel with administration of local retirement plans;
Other assignments as required.
Education, Licensing, and Certifications :
High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required.
College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred.
Experience :
Five to seven years' experience in a Benefits, Financial and/or Systems Analyst role.
Experience in the service or manufacturing industry preferred.
Experience in a union environment preferred.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, required
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced and changing environment
Ability to work with confidential information is essential and confidentiality required
Good understanding of Benefit laws and regulations preferred
Experience administering multiple plans within the same company preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to develop and execute benefit communications
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Ability to work well with all employees and management; strong customer service focus
Travel requirement (as a percent) approximately 10% for occasional meetings or training

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
Work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.
The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
