Supply proper materials and supplies to maintain continuous and uninterrupted process flow. Transfer materials and/or supplies between storage and processing positions according to specified procedures. Load conveyors, containers, etc. Load/unload lamps to/from oven. Load/unload case sealer/pallet. Unload conveyor, sort, and palletize cases of finished lamps following established procedures; obtain pallets as needed, repack lamps to cases; remove case or cases from pallets and deliver to proper stations for reinspections as requested; put aside damaged cases; take inventory as required; stack empty pallets; break down and/or dispose of all waste packing and other material; break down containers; sort mixed pallet loads, etc. Make minor adjustments to equipment as necessary. Assist the assigned area Mechanic A to maintain continuous production flow. Perform daily process checks. Changeover as needed. Assist in preventive maintenance. Start/stop assigned production equipment; clear jams, removing broken or jammed parts and recycling undamaged materials. Operate powered/non powered hand truck to supply and service equipment and/or processing stations with proper materials and supplies. Perform other related duties such as: lubricate equipment as required, maintain S.P.C., production, quality, inventory, and other required records, obtain and return materials and supplies, etc. Perform each phase of the operation in full compliance with all company, state, and/or federal safety and environmental regulations. Perform and assume full responsibility for his/her work and service to assure it fully meets the internal and external customer requirements and expectations. Notify designated personnel of any irregularities in materials, process, or equipment. Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of assigned area(s) and observe company policies at all times. Job requires a general knowledge of the product, quality requirements and inspection procedures.
Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to work any shift.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Manufacturing experience is a plus.
