Job Designation
The Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains assigned manufacturing related equipment throughout the facility in accordance with standard procedures, internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications and safety policies. Performs a wide variety of skilled work across multiple-functions and operations of the preventive maintenance system.
Job Core Responsibilities
Repair machines as needed
Perform required CNC machine maintenance too include alignment/positioning of turret & spindle
Assess & diagnose equipment failures in a systematic manner
Affectively communicate down equipment status as required
Housekeeping
Maintenance utility functions
Use of computer
Use various test equipment
Read prints and troubleshoot
Chemical handling
Fork truck driving
Equipment moving
Perform job functions and tasks required
Job Specifications
Must have own toolbox and tools
Fork Truck License or Ability to Procure License
Journeyman Card or 8 years equivalent experience
Experience in CNC, Waste Treatment, Heat Treat, Boiler Operation and HVAC, preferred
Ability to read machine tool prints
Experience in rebuild/overhaul of mechanical gear boxes
Flexible work schedule
Due to ITAR regulations, must be a US Person
