Our client is a leading company that services many of the largest big box retailers as well as Consumer Packaging Companies and Large Distribution Companies. Their primary focus is in Point-of-Purchase/Point-of-Sale (in-store promotional signage and displays), Branded Merchandise (apparel, gifts, and promotional incentive items), and Warehousing/Fulfillment activity. They are a wholly owned subsidiary of one of the largest communication, public relations and marketing companies in the United States.
Job Description: Project Manager
The Project Manager is responsible for all stages and types of IT projects and initiatives from proposal and requirements definition to project planning and implementation along with project cost and budget management. This position will proactively interface between internal and external customers and the technical/programming staff to ensure effective definition and the delivery of business applications. This position reports to the Director of Web Solutions.
Responsibilities Include:
Design, development and delivery of quality business applications that specifically handle the eCommerce and Web Services/Applications for the organization. Lead design and review sessions with development team, business partners and management Review and assess vendor solutions and proposals Manage multiple, parallel projects using formal project management methodologies Maintain project controls that accurately reflect completed work against project plans, schedules and budgets, and ensure user/management involvement at appropriate milestones Manage application design through the various life cycle stages from business need through design and delivery Manage project priorities, scope, budgets, timelines and expectations Develop project documentation and training materials where applicable Provide technical support and assistance as necessary Enforce best practices and implement policies and procedures for compliance and to ensure company wide consistent standards Provide management with regular communication on the progress of projects and other initiatives Responsible for recommending staffing plans and skill sets on a per project basis Coordinate intradepartmental projects and resources
Experience/Qualifications Include;
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience eCommerce, Web Services and Web Applications a plus Experience within environments that include:
.NET, C#, SQL Server, B2B, B2C, ERP, and eCommerce 8
years demonstrated project management experience Results-oriented self starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong management skills Demonstrated success establishing, managing and maintaining effective working relationships at the management level, internal and external to an organization Strong leadership, teaching and mentoring skills Critical thinking, strong analytical skills and problem solving ability Ability to handle a variety of tasks effectively and efficiently Ability to prioritize multiple projects and requests Must be a team playerEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
