Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining the yarn supply fed to the tufting machine involving unpacking yarn, loading it into the creel, splicing the ends together, and removing empty cones.
Responsible for feeding correct yarns into the tufting machine.
Expected to maintain all housekeeping items and follow all housekeeping procedures associated with the position.
Responsible for lifting or moving heavy objects.
Responsible for adhering to all safety and attendance policies.
Qualifications:
Must be able to work/stand for a 12-hour shift
Must be able to lift 25 pounds constantly for a 12-hour shift
Must be able to learn to splice with air splicer
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions for maintaining creel.
Ability to be an effective team member.
Good analytical and organizational skills.
