Systems Engineer

Position Overview:
Candidate will be part of a team performing development and system integration for a medium-assurance Public Key Infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for performing requirements analysis, requirements management, system design, and verification testing. The candidate may also be required to conduct trade studies to select COTS products to satisfy requirements or to solve other technical problems.
The candidate must have prior experience performing requirements decomposition and verification testing on Government contracts. The candidate must have prior experience in diagnosing problems found in testing and working solutions with stakeholders. The position requires good oral and written communication skills. The candidate should be familiar with the software development lifecycle and be experienced in using requirements tracking and defect reporting tools such as DOORS and Clearquest. Familiarity with PKI, X.509 certificates, and cryptography is a plus.

Full use and understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, and theories
Strong knowledge of other related disciplines
Contributes to the development of new theories and methods

Contributes to the achievement of business objectives
Proficient with requirements management & system modeling tools
Recognizes various architectural patterns and applies them appropriately
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Able to get buy-in on concepts and ideas
Creative thinker, good multi-tasker
Effective in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions
Ability to clearly report information relevant to sound systems engineering design

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, a related field, or the equivalent experience is required. In addition, a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is required.
Must be able to travel 5% of the time.
Applicant must be a US Citizen.
Must be capable of obtaining a Security Clearance

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
