Eaton Hydraulics has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance and Facilities Manager in Hutchinson, KS. Hutchinson is seeking candidates who embrace challenges and thrive in a culture of innovation and integrity.
This position is responsible for Directing and overseeing the maintenance and facility functions of the Hutchinson plant. Must be familiar with the entire scope and requirements of project(s) to include maintenance, utilities, mechanical systems, electrical systems, etc. Serves as liaison between team members and functional area management requesting project.
Other Essential Functions include:
A. Designs, implements and executes site level maintenance and facilities plan including corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance processes to maximum machine reliability and capability.
B. High capability to create and manage maintenance metrics by aligning goals with production and business objectives
C. Coordinate/establish maintenance and facilities activities to maximize equipment utilization.
D. Coordinate and execute machine moves with minimal manufacturing disruption.
E. Coordinate/establish a system of preventive maintenance functions to be performed on a scheduled basis to maximize equipment utilization. This will involve input from all personnel, either directly or indirectly, involved with the process.
F. Manage maintenance parts procurement and storeroom functions.
G. Supervise and coordinator contract work involving facility and equipment.
H. Oversee facility operations critical to plant operation and environmental impacts. This includes boilers, waste water treatment facility, stormwater systems and spill prevention systems.
I. Manages financial performance to align to the plant's objectives. This includes oversight and management of maintenance and facility budgets as well as capital improvement projects per profit plan
J. Manage maintenance parts procurement and storeroom functions.
K. Lead, coach, recognize, and motivate direct report employees to utilize Continuous Improvement tools to achieve zero safety incidents.
L. Owns and drives Continuous Improvement in conjuction and alignment with current processes and in collaboration with OPEX initiatives.
M. Support a Learning Organization by developing and maintaining cross-training programs to further develop the Maintenance and Tool & Die employees as well as ensure a proper succession program.
N. Maintain a high moral level, teaming and engagement across all shifts. Promote cultural changes towards a Lean Culture.
O. Review safety procedures and ensure safe working conditions. Maintain compliance with all State, Federal and local EHS regulations.
P. Proactively implements, promotes and maintains a safe working environment through diligence in accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and policy reinforcement.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
Basic
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required.
o Minimum 5 years pf facilities and maintenance leadership experience is required.
o Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.
Preferred
Qualifications:
o Experience conducting capital equipment analysis, cost accounting and project cost analysis
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate employees.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
o Experience in lean manufacturing, six sigma, and 5S.
