Our Correspondent team works with Wells Fargo Funding and is part of Home Lending. Correspondent clients include large and small banks and mortgage companies, which provide borrower financing.
The Business Systems Consultant works as a liaison among business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information, and information systems within projects or workstreams that have low to moderate risk to the organization and that are typically cross-departmental. The BSC collects, clarifies and translates business needs into requirements from which applications and solutions are developed.
Elicitation of requirements for low to moderately complex business problems may include but is not limited to interviews, document analysis, requirements sessions, surveys and/or use cases. May construct prototypes, mockups, and interaction requirements specifications using established UI standards and guidelines.
Understands and follows a requirements management plan specific to the project so that activities and milestones of the project team can be measured against the goals of the plan to determine project progress.
Facilitates project planning, design and solutioning sessions. Responsible for project research and issue resolution. Participate in development of specifications for system changes including conceptual design. Interacts with department management and/or project manager in preparation for presentations on project goals, solutions and plans. May assist with creation of testing scenarios. May assist in development and implementation of training materials/content for business users.
Basic

Minimum
Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
Collaborate effectively with external and internal customers
Demonstrated conceptual and analytical skills including an understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
Demonstrated facilitation, leadership and organizational skills
Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines amid shifting priorities
Experience with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio
This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
Preferred Skills:
4-year degree
Knowledge of Correspondent Lending and systems utilized
Knowledge of TPM
Experience writing business requirements
