SUMMARY
The SQL Analyst/Developer will develop and maintain SQL procedures and functions on SQL Server 2008. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining SQL Analysis Services cubes and helps in segmenting customers to create Mail files and Email files for marketing purposes and developing queries for ad hoc reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain marketing analytical databases, procedures, functions and meta data tables and make sure the daily jobs are running and up to date.
Develop complex queries to create ad hoc reports.
Develop procedures and functions to automate repetitive tasks and automate file transfers and conversions.
Create mail and email files based on customer segmentation for marketing promotions.
Develop and maintain SQL Analysis Services cubes and dashboards.
Take lead in continuous improvement of marketing datamart, which includes innovative data capture and reporting
Create User Interface for entering/pulling data
Optimize and improve procedures/queries
Use test driven design methods to ensure top quality.
Debug procedures and functions, as needed.
REQUIREMENTS

years of database development experience utilizing TSQL for creating database objects (tables, views, procedures, functions).
Experience with SQL Server 2008, SSAS, SSIS.

years of database design and architecture experience.
2
years of database optimization techniques (index tuning, advanced query writing).
2
years of experience in designing and developing SSAS cubes, SSIS packages.
Experience in Full Project Life Cycle.
Ability to design and code from specifications.
Ability to handle multiple projects at once with tight deadlines.
Strong organizational and problem solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills.
Must demonstrate attention to detail, and a commitment to quality work.
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
