As part of the Corporate Lending technology group's Loan Processing & Loan Servicing application support team, this position will provide technical consultation and support in the development of computer applications and programs for the Home Equity & Personal Lines & Loans business partners.
Job responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to the following
Analyzing business requirements, designing and writing technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions
Developing original and/or complex code or provides coding guidance to less experienced staff
Verifying program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs
Participating in overall systems testing
Leading the migration of applications to production
Developing new documentation, participating in the development of department technical procedures and designs user guides
As an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, you will provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems
Leading projects & enhancement initiatives, including assignment of tasks, and providing direction and guidance to less experienced staff
Assuring quality, security and compliance requirements are met for the supported area(s)
Basic
Qualifications: 5
years application development and implementation experience.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Must have 5
years' experience using/developing web based applications
5
years of development on a Java platform with design, development and support experience in Core JAVA, J2EE
5
hands on development experience using Java, Web Services, JavaScript, JSP, MQ/JMS, and SQL Server. (is willing to consider candidates that do not have all technologies)
Experience should include solving problems and grasping concepts quickly
Must be flexible to work on & off hours as required to support various environments
Solid written and verbal communication; ability to write technical documentation and work with peers, business analysts and business partners on design and troubleshooting of issues
Preferred Skills:

years hands on experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures and a working knowledge of application servers/containers

years hands on experience with Blaze or Drools rules engine
2
years Spring MVC2.X/3.X (Web/webmvc/beans/jdbc/webservices/batch/integration)
2
years hands on experience in Java Swing UI development with event handling
2
years hands on experience in Multi-threading programming
1
years of experience in Message Driven Beans for high volume batch processing systems
Hands-on Experience with MAVEN and/or ANT, Log4J
Service Oriented Architecture and/or Messaging Solution experience
Demonstrated communication, leadership and relationship skills to effectively partner with the business partners (SMEs, stakeholders, PMs) and technical team members (architects, data analysts, application developers, QA)
Demonstrated business analysis skills
