Part time B2B Collections Rep will be responsible for reviewing, monitoring and maintaining within credit terms all customer accounts. The primary duties are to contact customers regarding delinquent invoices, invoice discrepancies and arrange for payment.
Responsibilities:
- Collect all current and past due customer balances.
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships
- Answer all customer questions regarding problems with their accounts, including sending statements and invoices one request.
- Contact customers by telephone to determine the reasons for overdue payments and advise them of necessary actions and resolutions for debt payment.-
- Record and update information regarding the financial status of accounts and collections efforts.
- Resolve credits on accounts due to overpayments, duplicate payments or billing errors.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Position Requirements:-
2-5 years Business to Business (B2B) collections experience
Industry experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, or similar business environment required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- - Ability to multi-task and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
- - Possess a strong attention to detail.
- - Proficiency with MS Office with Excel skills.
- - Experience with an accounting software preferred
