Cinder Solutions is looking for a solid candidate to fill the role of an Accounting Clerk for one of our growing clients in Chandler, AZ. This is a full time, 40 an hour a week position. We offer all full time employees a competitive benefits package that includes PTO and Healthcare coverage.
Job Description:
The Accounting Clerk will be supporting the Marketing Group.
Responsibilities:
- Processing invoices in Versa Pro
- Tracking payments
- Retrieving electronic soft copies from the system
- Align VP and SAP systems by entering missing invoices.
- Validating and verifying documentation submitted by external Members in support of reimbursement for marketing activity claims in the system are complete, accurate and in compliance with terms and conditions.
- Uses office automated systems to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries.
- Accurately gathers, verifies, and manipulates data in a timely manner.
- Assignments are typically routine in nature.
- The work is performed within generally defined parameters.
- Limited degree of judgment is required in resolving non-standard problems.
- Issue resolutions for PMG, customers and their agencies, ensuring payment requests are compliant for reimbursements, fund utilization management, customer training, filing, and scanning of any documentation provided by hard copy.
Required Knowledge:
- Familiarity/knowledge of accounting terminology and concepts
- Familiarity with Versa Pro
- Familiarity with SAP
- Knowledge of manual and/or automated accounting systems, manual or automated filing systems, and skills using mainframe, spreadsheet, database or other software.
- Microsoft office skills are required including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Must have 1-2 years of experience with each.
