Job Description
Assesses the product quality through in-process testing and finished product testing, reviewing data involved in day-to-day product/process and environmental /personnel monitoring. The position follows Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices and regulatory standards. The microbiologist is also responsible for microbial monitoring of the water system.
Responsibilities
Perform microbiological testing and related activities including:
Microbiological Testing
Environmental Monitoring
Personnel Monitoring
Water System Monitoring
Purchase & Prepare Microbiological Media
Reporting
Aseptic Training
Line Clearance and Media Fills
Investigate/Collect Data on Findings
Sterility Testing
Bacterial Identification
Validation/Calibration
All GMPs, SOPs and company policies must be followed
Minimum
Qualifications:
Degree or Diploma in Microbiology (or an equivalent).
Demonstrates initiative, problem solver, team player and self-motivated.
Strong organizational, time management and detail-oriented skills are required.
Strong communication skills - oral and written.
Assets:
Related experience in a sterile manufacturing facility.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
