Qualifications:
Computer Operations Support Associate with capabilities in monitoring software applications in a Windows Server environment, supporting software problem analysis and resolution, software testing and implementation, and process improvements. This position also requires the individual to provide customer support via timely responses to requests and maintaining an open line of communication with the business areas.
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent advanced certifications in Windows Server and SQL Server computer operations with 4-6 years experience o Strong critical thinking and software data analysis skills o Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation skills o Proficient in the Microsoft Outlook, Sharepoint, Word, Excel and Access products o Strong MS-Access and MS-SQL query development skills o Strong knowledge of MS-Office VBA, MS .Net, and Sharepoint development essential o Ability to reduce technical jargon to non-technical layman's terms to clearly communicate issues to business area staff o Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with technical and business stakeholders
Responsibilities:
Computer and Software Operations o Monitor software applications for proper functioning o Analyze application issues and problems and provide resolution o Communicate technical issues to technical support staffs to resolve application and hardware issues o Process business area's security access requests and maintain overall security access to data resources o Compile metrics to ensure operational performance and control objectives are met or exceeded o Maintain procedures documents and update, as necessary o Provide assistance to operations staff with desktop software and device issues and support equipment replacement and relocation Software Application Support o Creates application reports and queries for the business operations areas using MS-Excel, MS-Access and MS-SQL Software Testing and Implementation o Develop and execute detailed test scripts and document test results o Identify, document, and report all defects to technical support groups o Support business application production implementations Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
