Description
Implement network hardening based on DISA STIGs for Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ASA, and Access Control System (Client) devices - Providing security engineering support for technical implementation of security solutions comprised of COTS, FOSS, & custom products - Follow established program security engineering policies, processes & procedures - Apply security standards, principles, theories, concepts & techniques to solve problems - Ensure completion of assigned project milestones as directed by immediate supervisor - Participate in the development & review of Engineering Change Requests, to include participation in Change Management Boards at multiple program levels - Participate in the technical interchange meetings with the team members & other program personnel, & represent the organization in matters pertaining to his/her functional area - Applying knowledge of current IA policies as a contributor to the architecture & design of secure solutions to customer needs & requirements - Participate in program Engineering Change Proposal development - Participate in risk & opportunity analysis, tracking & mitigation - Preparing, writing, & presenting trade studies, cost benefit analysis, reports & briefings as required - Ensure compliance with all company safety requirements
Required Skills:
- 4
years of cyber security engineering & security compliance experience with a proven track record of increasing responsibilities - Strong network engineering skills and hands on experience with the following Cisco products: Access Control System (Client), Nexus, Catalyst, &/or ASA firewalls - Hands on familiarity with SNMP/SNMP v3 - Experience configuring networking devices to use syslog & Unix syslog facilities - Demonstrated experience with implementing & managing National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) security policies & standards, including DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) - Demonstrated experience in security engineering processes & techniques - Demonstrated experience in conducting security engineering, analytical, & problem solving activities with structured problem solving techniques - Demonstrated experience establishing & maintaining working relationship with all levels of the organization, including customers, users, & other peer groups - Demonstrated experience in working in dynamic environments requiring ability to assess & prioritize tasks, managing time & resources to meet assigned deadlines - Demonstrated leadership experience with excellent interpersonal skills - Excellent written & oral communication skills, including presentation skills - Availability to travel
Desired Skills:
- Hands on experience with NetMRI, WhatsUpGold or Orion SolarWinds - Scripting skills (e.g. Python, Ruby, Expect, Cisco Tool Command Language (TCL)) - Experience in satellite command, control & communications, and/or network architecture - Experience & technical knowledge in satellite ground systems - Network engineer (Cisco) or systems administrator experience (Windows, Linux) - Experience in systems engineering, life-cycle management, & engineering change proposal processes - Experience with the Microsoft Office
Required Education (including Major):
B.S./B.A. in Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, EE.
In lieu of a degree, 12 years equivalent experience is required.
Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional or Associate (CCNP/CCNA), CISSP, CISM or CISA desiredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
