Summary:The Attorney Auditor reviews legal and non-legal invoices on behalf of our clients for services provided to insurance carriers, corporate legal departments and government entities. The auditor will apply client specified billing guidelines and/or Generally Accepted Principles and Standards (GAPS).Required Skills:
Review legal invoices for services provided to insurance carriers and corporate legal departments using their knowledge of the litigation process, client specified billing guidelines and/or Generally Accepted Principles and Standards (GAPS).
The ability to work with clients to develop or enhance billing protocol.
Experience effectively communicating with law firms to discuss compliance with client's billing requirements.
The ability to manage invoice workflow effectively and efficiently.
The ability to work independently to finalize and approve legal invoices for payment.
A history of consistently meeting
established performance standards for production and collaborating
with team members to jointly meet production objectives/goals
Preferred Skills:
5
years of insurance defense, property and casualty defense and/or worker's compensation defense experience for a legal auditor position is required
A strong insurance defense or worker's compensation defense background and knowledge of attorney best billing practices are required.
Computer competency is essential including Microsoft applications and the ability to efficiently/effectively navigate within and between various software applications.
Candidates should also demonstrate strong organizations
and communication skills.
A proven ability to cooperate with other team members to meet objectives/goals
Education:
JD RequiredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
