Job Description Lead the execution of our Process Improvement programs and initiatives through implementation of lean principles and concepts that focus on elimination of waste and non-value added activities;
- Plan, organize, and deliver education and training on Process Improvement across all operations departments and areas;
- Direct, plan and build cohesive integrated production teams that are proactive and customer focused with continuous improvement philosophy;
- Plan and develop policies, procedures, run rules, and long-term operational requirements to sustain a lean environment;
- Report to Area Management, customers, and vendors to monitor project status and to coordinate work activities;
- Ensure quality and timeliness of work and completion within budget;
- Effectively communicate with employees, management and professional personnel to help achieve and maintain smooth work flow and high productivity.
Required Education/Training BS Degree required; degree in engineering, technical or maritime field preferred.
Working knowledge of and/or experience in lean principles.
LSS Green Belt required, Black Belt preferred.
Experience Minimum of 10 years' experience in ship construction and/or manufacturing environment required.
Effective leadership and communication/facilitation skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage conflict and multiple priorities.
High energy level, positive perspective, teamwork skills and results oriented.
Good analytical and project management skills and ability to develop and apply business process metrics.
Good computer knowledge/experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project, and Access.
Accepts ownership and responsibility for defining solutions.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
