SQL Server Database Developer
We are currently engaged with a client who is seeking a SQL Server Database Developer on a consulting to full-time direct or full-time direct employee basis. In this role, the SQL Server Developer will:
Design, develop, test, productionalize and deploy new ETL, Data Integration and Application projects.
Provide analysis of source data structures and optimization of queries and data architecture for performance and scalability.
Interview business users to collect and record requirements to architect logical and physical data and control structures to implement those requirements within Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
Manage the mapping and data quality of large claims data sets in SQL server.
Create innovative solutions utilizing cutting edge technologies and platforms such as SQL Server 2014, Amazon Web Services, Streaming Data, Predictive Analytics and Agile Methodologies.
The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:
SQL Server reporting, ETL and/or transactional applications
Data architectural skills in the context of reporting, ETL and/or transactional applications
Real-world implementations of T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, dynamic SQL/SQL programming, indices and query tuning
SQL Server 2005, T-SQL, dynamic T-SQL, database application development, database application productionalization, VisualBasic, MS Office, Agile methodologies.
Experience in health care/health insurance with claims data and medical codes preferred
Exposure to cloud-based computing paradigms a plus
