The internship will consist of research projects to be assigned by the EVP of Publicity and/or his Assistant. These will include looking up information regarding filmmakers, talent, reps, competitive releases, film festivals, etc. Interns will also help manage binder system and assist with keeping film calendars, strategy, memos, etc. up to date. Intern will help department with preparation for Comic Con, participate in weekly staff meetings, work junkets and premieres. Intern will also be asked to read scripts and contribute creative ideas for campaigns.

Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Pursuing bachelor's degree
Avid interest in Publicity, Marketing, and/or Communications
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Proficient in internet research with experience in an office setting
Entertainment experience preferred
The Spectrum Internship Program's winter/spring session is a part-time, 20 hour/ week commitment lasting for a 15 week period from January through May. All applicants must be in good academic standing and available for the entire 15 week session.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
