Prin Software Engineer

This position requires an embedded real time software developer/engineer with demonstrated experience in C and assembly-level programming. The candidate should be well-versed in all aspects of reverse engineering and internet technologies, and must be familiar with various types of networking hardware and network setups. A strong CM background is desired, but not required.
The position entails working in a team environment developing new code, maintaining and enhancing an existing code base to meet changing customer requirements, and providing onsite customer support.
Required Skills and Education
Required Skills:
oExperience with bootloaders, Linux device drivers, and kernel-space code
oExperience in development using C targeting embedded operating systems
oExperience with hardware bringup and debug
oNetwork protocol knowledge
oSolid understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
oExperience with C, Python, and assembly-level programming
oExperience with issue tracking systems (JIRA/Atlassian suite)
oBS/BA or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or other pertinent experience

oTeam leadership
oExperience in developing networking software
oForward and reverse engineering of software, firmware, digital hardware, and communication protocols
oOpen source cross-compiler tools, including the GNU toolchain and GNU make
oWorking knowledge of IDA Pro, Metasploit, Wireshark, Backtrack
oExperienced developing software for Real Time Operating Environments
oExperience designing tests to ensure that developed software is highly reliable
oExperience with Automated Testing
oDemonstrated experience with Agile software development
oExperience developing code using configuration management to track software releases and changes (Mercurial and CVS)
