Sr. Accounts Payable Clerk
Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for a qualified individual to join the NA Accounts Payable team. This position is located in Ames, Iowa and reports to the North American Accounts Payable Manager.
Job Description
Responsible for the data entry of North American Accounts Payable invoices in a timely and accurate manner. This includes the ability to respond to internal and external customer inquiries in regards to this data.
Job Responsibilities (include and are not limited to the following)
Enters invoices into business system; researches and resolves any discrepancies with these invoices both internally and externally.
Routes invoices for additional information, including but not limited to requests for approvals, proper coding information or omitted information in order to release the invoice for payment.
Audits supplier invoices and statements to ensure information is accurate prior to input in the business system.
Responds timely to supplier payment inquiries via phone and e-mail.
Works closely with Procurement and/or suppliers to resolve any quantity or pricing discrepancies.
Completes monthly audits of the credit card program to ensure existing policies and procedures are being followed.
Provides all internal and external customers with a high degree of customer service.
Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field required
1 - 3 years of related work experience
High attention to details
Strong customer service skills
Positive, team-oriented attitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office. SAP experience preferred
