Job Description o Prepares metal and non-metallic surfaces for paint and coatings
o Cleans/abrades surfaces to remove coatings, scale, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt to a specified finish using hand and power tools
o Applies paint by brush or roller, apply industrial/marine coating, ultra high solids epoxy, conventional spraying, airless methods, and plural component spray
o Cleans ships, piers, or dry-dock using brooms, shovels, or vacuums
o Collects and removes debris or unneeded trash to dumpsters
o Masks and protects surfaces and equipment from spray painting
Required Education/Training High School Diploma/GED required
Experience Must be able to meet the requirements of the Physical Task Analysis
Ability to work in confined spaces, or working at heights
Experience with power tools and pneumatic tools - preferred
Spray paint experience, either: conventional or airless - preferred
Condo Lift trained - preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
