DSP Sound Engineer
Seeking an experienced Audio DSP Algorithm Engineer to develop code and systems for an exciting new family of healthcare products.
The successful candidate will develop, architect, and integrate DSP system software and algorithms as well as characterize system performance. This candidate needs to have a passion for audio and be an innovative out of the box thinker. Experience with auscultation devices/sounds is a definite plus.
You will work with product managers, application engineers, and other business personnel to define, develop and productize audio-to-digital conversion solutions.
Position Requirements:
Experience in applying principles of good software and interface design.
Experience developing Audio/Speech algorithms is required.
Strong programming skills with C/C++/Matlab and exposure to software engineering methods
Strong understanding of DSP architectures
Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Exposure to electromagnetics, acoustics and other related fields of physics will be a plus.
Ability to excel in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with cross-functional teamsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
