At iContact we have arguably the best group of end users in any company. We are looking for an enthusiastic, technically savvy and experienced systems administrator to deliver the services and support that our users need. We are a mixed OS environment with Windows, Macs and Linux workstations all represented and applications running on both Windows and Linux servers. We need someone that's eager to keep things running smoothly with minimal effort through automation and scripting but unrelenting in restoring service when something goes wrong. We do not subscribe to the all work and no play mentality but know there's a time for fun and a time to get it done.
Role and Responsibilities
Primary responsibility is the development, management, integration and support of IT systems, services and applications:
Laptops, Desktops, and Internal Servers
Network/Routing
Internet Policy, Security, Enforcement
Trouble Ticket Systems support.
Jira, Confluence, Service-Now
Part of the team that sets policy, monitors, prioritizes, and develops standards for, as well as establishes service level standards for, IT systems, services and applications.
Member of the team that administratively supports Back Office systems, services and applications.
Administration of an enterprise Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange architecture.
Assists in implementing high quality Back Office environments through automation.
Provide highest possible level of customer service to end users to ensure quick, thorough and accurate response to issues
Ensures the use of an effective preventive maintenance program suitable to meet the operation objective of 99.9% availability. Follows maintenance policies and procedures to support those policies.
As a member of the team will respond to all system problems on a 24x7 basis and take part in on-call rotation.
Supports the goals and objectives of the Company through the knowledgeable advocating of new and enhanced technologies.
Assists in evaluating, recommending, and selecting equipment, services and vendors.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements
College degree, preferably a B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
At least 3 years direct experience with responsibility for IT systems support and deployment.
Must have demonstrably strong technical problem solving skills in a windows domain environment
Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and comfortable talking with all levels of technical backgrounds
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
Preferred Skills
Experience in a large, complex organization or corporate structure environment preferred.
MCSE is a highly desired.
Self-motivation, a high degree of resourcefulness, good team skills, and a willingness to learn new things are required.
Ability to interface with users and staff.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
