The most essential functions of the Machine Operator position:
- Handle change over's as required (in other words, changing blades on the machines from the small blade to medium blade and large blade).
- Set up and run machines while monitoring their output.
- Assemble materials according to the prints and documentation.
- Certain inspections may be needed.
- Pulling required materials from inventory and creating labels.
- Keep the assortment of inventory accurate and clean.
Requirement
Basic qualifications for the Machine Operator position:
- High School Diploma or GED is a must.
- Ability to use verniers, calipers and a wide range of the other measuring devices as required.
- 1 year of experience in Manufacturing area.
- Excellent hand to eye coordination as well as exceptional manual dexterity.
- Perfect trouble shooting ability, mechanical skills and a core awareness of blue print reading basics.
- Awareness of lean manufacturing process desired.
- Willingness to be crossed in various fields and flexibility in constantly changing routines.
- Outstanding communication (written and verbal) skills.
Education
High School Diploma or GED is a must.
