Summary:
Responsible for delivering less than truckload freight shipments from one terminal to another.?
Job Specifications:
?Daily -
inspect equipment (tractor/trailer) according to all (Federal Motor Vehicles, NTC, etc.) prescribed guidelines
report damaged equipment following company guidelines
transport freight via tractor/trailer from terminal to terminal following company policies and safety guidelines
move/prepare freight as needed for transportation
Knowledge and Skills:?
Requires solid knowledge of tractor/trailer operation and freight hauling procedures
Individual must possess excellent customer service, flexibility, initiative, prioritizing skills. These skills are utilized while working within flexible to rigid parameters dealing with company personnel, customers, dispatcher, and regulatory processes
Requires Class A CDL, 2 years verifiable driving experience, and Hazmat endorsement, with the ability to lift 100 pounds
Position would require a minimum 3 months on the job training to become proficient with all processes
Requires complete awareness and compliance of all safety parameters associated with Job Title.
Working Conditions:?
Working conditions are consistent with normal freight and delivery dock environment, including working in inclement weather.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
