Qualifications :
5 years experience as an R&D engineer or lab technician.
Working in the medical device or drug delivery field, developing complex test/assembly fixtures, verifying and validating complex products via self developed test methods and helping in design and assembly of products under development.
Help engineers in creating products, improving test methods and maintaining assembly systems.
Collect test data and prepare reports. Experience with FDA class II or III medical devices preferred.
Thorough understanding of design principles, mechanical testing, and measurement systems along with experience in Test Method Validation or Measurement System Analysis.
Ability to understand challenges quickly and organize multiple projects concurrently, and must adapt rapidly to changing work assignments.
Results driven and action oriented. Careful attention to detail to ensure accurate and precise execution of work tasks and procedures.
Work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities:

-This position is within the R&D organization of the Self-Administration Injection Systems (SAIS) platform of BD Medical Pharmaceutical Systems.
-As an extended team member, you will work on a product development team developing and commercializing new or customized self-injectable devices for various pharmaceutical customers.
Responsibilities may include:
Participation in the generation and evaluation of new concepts and prototypes, including analysis and bench testing
Development of test methods and/or test fixtures to evaluate product performance. Develop and conduct measurement systems analyses (gage R&R studies) on test methods and equipment
Planning and Execution of design verification protocols, testing and reports Work with Suppliers to provide test fixtures, components, assemblies and prototypesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
