KBW has partnered with a growing specialized manufacturer in their search for a Senior Accountant.
This is a senor accounting role with a strong cost emphasis working with management and operations teams.
Responsibilities
Accurate inventory valuation
Reserve analysis, absorption, and obsolescence.
Update standard costs
Annual standard cost roll forward.
Review and report any purchase price variances (PPV).
Prepare month-end journal entries and account reconciliations
Intercompany transactions and cash flow
Domestic and international tax returns
Fixed assets and capital spend
Audit preparation
Monthly financial and operational analysis
Assist Controller with various special projects as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance;
Four plus years of relevant experience, including cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
MRP systems and inventory controls
Knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition accounting principles
MS Excel proficiency required
