This position reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and has operational and supervisory responsibility of the administrative supervisors and functions, staffing coordinator and the nursing administration office functions. Manager will collaborate with nursing and ancillary department directors and the medical staff to ensure development and provision of safe, quality care and timely patient flow processes. Actively facilitates team functioning within nursing administration and hospital-wide. Contributes to nursing and the hospital through support of philosophy, mission, vision, objectives, education and research efforts. Contributes to communication flow, process structures, system problem identification and analysis and shared governance. Requirements QUALIFICATION STANDARDS: A. Work
Experience: Minimum of three years clinical experience in addition to one year experience in nursing management. Must have strong managerial and communication skills. This position demands leadership, initiative, integrity, creativity and sound judgment. B. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN completion or near completion required. MSN preferred. C. License, Certification, or Registration required: Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is required. Must have PALS certification within six months of hire. D. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, andEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
