Job Description
A fast paced and growing company in the transportation industry is looking for a Systems Engineer to add to their team. This Engineer will grow into a role developing and implementing automation tools to ultimately provide our infrastructure as a service. This role will report to the Director of Systems Infrastructure.
Minimum
Qualifications:
3
years of solid Linux/UNIX systems engineer/administrator experience
Experience configuring and managing virtualized environments (Openstack on KVM and Citrix XenApp)
Familiarity with Configuration & Integration management (e.g., Subversion, TeamCity, Artifactory)
Significant experience with monitoring configurations and management
Strong scripting skills
Windows experience a plus
Desired Skills:
High Unix skills, with some sysadmin experience.
High experience with day-to-day data center administration.
Exposure to the various issues experienced in a modern data-center: access, user directories, monitoring, logging.
Experience with virtualization (Xen,Vmware,Amazon,Cloudstack).
Exposure to, and preferably hands-on experience with, DevOps i.e. modern tools & technologies related to data-center operations.
Exposure to the hardware tier, the setup, the maintenance, the hookup to monitoring.
Experience with basic networking, load-balance appliances and configuration.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
