Responsibilities: This positions duties include the responsibility for insuring compliance with health and safety laws and rules pertaining to food, beverage and lodging establishments, mobile home parks, recreational camping areas, childrens camps, schools, and public swimming pools in Morrison and Todd Counties. The incumbent will collect water samples to be submitted to a state certified water-testing laboratory, as well as investigate and follow up on nuisance complaints.
Qualifications: This position requires a Bachelors Degree in Public Health, Physical, Biological or Environmental Health or closely related field that includes, 30 semesters or 45-quarter credits in a science course. Sanitarian registration is preferred and must be accomplished within two years of hire. Minnesota Drivers License is required. The position requires extensive knowledge of actual and potential environmental health problems and the federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations that govern environmental health issues. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
