TAD PGS, INC. is currAently seeking a Supply Chain Director for one of our clients in Madison , MS. Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance.
Major Purpose:
The Supply Chain Director will develop and sustain processes that support PID's ability to procure parts for government and commercial programs in a compliant manner while consistently improving execution performance of the Supply Chain through on-time delivery performance and outstanding security/accountability of supply chain assets.
Major Functions:
Lead and be responsible for resource allocation, and budget execution, for Procurement, Sub-Contracts, and Logistics groups.
Manage and improve a supply chain logistics network with multiple distribution centers.
Identify and implement best in class technology, infrastructure suitable to the scope and size of the business along with disciplines that support a supply chain operation.
Develop and implement distribution best practices such as systems integration and optimization, inventory control, and demand planning.
Works with the appropriate teams to drive standardization and continuous improvement.
Manages activities as they relate to tactical purchasing, material requirements, planning, inventory control, warehouse and receiving.
Execute sourcing initiatives including supplier qualification & selection, commercial terms, gaining regulatory approvals for spend categories.
Establish and monitor vendor performance metrics and provide feedback.
Sets the highest ethical standards for self and others.
Ensure Supply Chain organization is compliant with all legal, financial, safety and ethical standards.

Technical/Functional Skills:
Competency Requirements of the position:
Strategic development & planning experience.
Strong working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
Experienced in warehouse material handling, inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
Possess excellent planning skills and experience developing budgets and forecasts.
Experienced in the purchasing function.
Familiar with ISO requirements.
Communicates data effectively to internal and external customers.
Strong statistical background and knowledge of statistical process control (SPC).
Knowledge and understanding of International Trade Compliance, identify, report and resolve any trade compliance issues.

Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as executive supply chain/logistics manager, purchasing manager/procurement manager.
Strong organizational skills.
Understanding of complex supply chains.
Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance.
Must be able to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as required.
Education:
Bachelors Degree
14 years relevant experience in an Aerospace or similar Supply Chain environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
