They are looking for a professional with a comfort level in working with large amounts of data, someone who is quick and accurate and who has a knack for reading the trends. To be successful this this role you will need to be an Excel Pro who can produce analysis on a quick turnaround in a high volume environment. You will be responsible for sales trend analysis, expense analysis, and financial modeling that will help guide the business decisions for the organization. To be successful in this role you will need a bachelors degree in a related field - accounting, finance or economics, strong software skills including advanced Excel, and a minimum three years of experience as a financial analyst, preferably in a retail, wholesale or distribution environment.
