or Java) needed for a direct hire opportunity with Yoh's Gaming client located in Palo Alto, CA.
The Big Picture:
- The performance and Framework team (Back End) helps in Optimization of the Game engine.
- The Software engineer will be a part of this group to develop the ultimate robustness to aid this process.
Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Deep Expertise in Java or C+
language
- Multithreading and concurrency
- Previous experience working in High Availability and or High Traffic systems project
- Distributed systems projects experience
What You'll Be Doing:
- Backend Software Engineer (C+
or Java) will be responsible for developing the core technologies that drive the next game engine.
- Backend Software Engineer (C+
or Java) will work closely with the engine lead to help define an architectural vision for the engine and ensure that all code reinforces the conceptual integrity of that vision
- Code primarily in C+
or Java to develop the technologies behind next-gen cross-platform mobile game engine
- Define the technical specifications required by various subsystems interacting within a complex architecture
- Produce high quality, well-documented code promoting modularity, extensibility and performance
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Five to seven (5 - 7+) years of expert level C++/Java experience
- Strong background in computer science fundamentals, design patterns, algorithms and data structures
- Exceptional problem solving and debugging skills
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Deep Expertise in Java or C+
language
- Multithreading and concurrency
- Previous experience working in High Availability and or High Traffic systems project
- Distributed systems projects experience
