Data Analyst needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Iselin, NJ
Top Skills Should You Possess:
- Experience using Microsoft SSRS or SSIS reporting and ETL services a plus
- Advanced Excel and Access skills including advanced formulas, macros, and VBA programming
What You'll Be Doing:
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reports and develop new reports on an ad hoc basis
- Work with the Central IS team to automate the import and export of data between internal systems and external client databases
- Provide database support to staff to ensure consistent and accurate data entry and storage
- Develop and manage data analysis systems for a variety of tasks, activities, and reports
- Participate in creation, implementation, and maintenance of data policies and objectives
- Provide a critical interface between the internal administrative staff and clients
- Interact and coordinate with management to identify and address risks or problems with current database structures, processes and procedures
- Implement Quality Control processes
- Provide backup support to the department manager
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Three (3) plus years of experience writing PL/SQL scripts and T-SQL scripts
- Superior working skills in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Access
- Advanced Excel and Access skills including advanced formulas, macros, and VBA programming
- One to three (1-3) years of demonstrated experience in database design and management
- Skilled in utilizing IT solutions to re-engineer procedures to improve operational efficiency
- Good technical documentation skills
- Sharp attention to detail, excellent organizational and self-directed skills
- Ability to initiate, coordinate and prioritize responsibilities and follow through on project tasks
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment and work effectively with a variety of people
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in an environment of frequent and often short deadlines
- Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals
- Experience using Microsoft SSRS or SSIS reporting and ETL services are pluses
